Ilayathalapathy Vijay is back again with his next movie ‘Vetaikaran’ which is being directed by the newcomer Babu Sivan. The film is made under the banners of Sun Pictures and produced by AVM Saravanan and B Gurunath Meiyappan. Vijay and Anushka paired up for the first time and it’s said that the chemistry among them have worked out well in the film. ‘Vettaikaran’ will be a feast to his fans with all the commercial factors packed, like all his recent films. Madalasa Sharma, Sri Hari and Salim Ghouse have played key roles in the film. Vetaikaran is the remake of Telugu film Vikramarkudu. Vijay plays dual role in the film, a policeman and a small level thief.

Shooting is almost over and only a few more shots are to go. Sun pictures have confirmed the release date of the film and the film will hit the screens for this Diwali. Vijay Antony has tried his best to deliver some good numbers but he absolutely failed in that. Songs were released now and it’s not up to the mark of Vijay. It feels no new and not catchy even. But the song numbers may satisfy the die hard fans of Vijay at least. This is Vijay’s 49th film. His 50th film is named as ‘Urimai Kural’ and will be produced by Sangili Murugan.
